We use nature-based design as a catalyst to help cities, businesses, and communities adapt to the challenges posed by the changing climate.
With a focus on the built environment, we think innovatively and strategically, not only when it comes to managing rainwater but also when composing the plants in our designs. We focus on functional diversity, meaning we leverage the various properties and functions that each plant contributes.
As an essential part of our approach, we focus on soil health and microbial life. A healthy underground ecosystem not only supports plant growth and health but also enhances the plants’ ability to absorb and store CO2. Healthy soil life also provides the best conditions for water purification—not only locally but also in the water and marine systems that the land is part of.
